About Us
After graduating from Kutztown University, I began a career as a commercial account executive for Bell Atlantic in D.C. From there I detoured into the advertising world finally coming to rest in the medical industry. I have always been involved in sales and service and truly enjoy the rapport building with clients.
My husband who is an experienced Optometrist of 20 years is involved with several local practices in the Bel Air area of Harford County. During visits to his office, I began to see a reoccurring theme with the front desk functions; files and paper becoming overwhelming to manage and a nightmare to store as is the case with any growing business.
Over the years, I continued to encounter other practices that were suffering the same discord. Storing files offsite at some kind of storage facility seemed to be the immediate solution. Some practices, in an effort to save money, would store documents in their back office, basements ,and garages. I noticed the staff's frustration and the lack of efficiency was directly related to this overwhelming need to manage thousands of patient records. Along with concern that they are not being stored in a secure and compliant manner. I believed there was a better solution.
I became interested in scanning as a solution and was fortunate enough to join the staff of Secure Scanning Solutions (SSS). After witnessing firsthand how this company solved all my husband's document management needs I was excited to share this solution with other businesses who were struggling with the same issues. This led me to actually acquiring the company in the spring of 2011, something I have always dreamed of- owning my own business!
Since the purchase of SSS, I have made it my personal goal to create a company that delivers excellence. I am also committed to staffing SSS with dedicated employees and fostering a positive work environment, thus achieving our ultimate goal- satisfying our clients and solving their document management needs.
